HTC officially entered the tablet market after announcing the new Flyer Android Tablet at Mobile World Congress 2011.
Specs and Build
The new HTC Flyer Android tablet is equipped with a 7-inch capacitive multi-touch screen display with 1024×600 pixels resolution and will sport an aluminum unibody build and weigh just under a pound. This tablet runs on powerful 1.5 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with Android 2.3 OS and 1GB of RAM enough for handling multi task applications. The 5 mega pixel auto focus camera with LED flash on back side, as well as 1.3 mega pixel camera on the front side, are also a nice addition for users to make video calls with high video quality.
The HTC Flyer tablet is said to come with excellent battery life 8 to 14 hours in standby mode and upto 4 hours of HD video playback . As for the availability it may hit the stores in Q2 2011 and not sure about the price but it may come with a price tag of $799 . Check out the video above.
